Prime Day Products I Wouldn’t Recommend

Not everything on sale is worth your money. Here’s my honest list of products I’ve tried, tested, and wouldn’t repurchase—either because they didn’t work, were overpriced, or just didn’t live up to the hype.

💄 Beauty & Skincare

• ColorScience Color Balm – Dry and hard to use.

• ColorScience 3-in-1 Concealer – Cool idea, but Kyda is a better alternative.

• ColorScience Brush-On SPF – Didn’t protect well; my hairline still burned.

• Laneige Cream Skin – Runny and doesn’t absorb. Not worth needing a spray nozzle.

• Laneige Lip Products – Overhyped. There are better Korean options out there.

• Clarins Cryo Flash Cream Mask – Just okay. Korean masks are better and cheaper.

• Saie Liquid Blush – Not a fan. e.l.f. has better options.

• StriVectin Neck Cream – Two jars, no results.

• Too Faced Mascara – Clumpy and overrated.

• Essence Lash Mascara – It's cheap and mediocre.

• Snail Mucin – Started great, then dried out my skin.

• Isdin Zinc Oxide Sunscreen – Overpriced. Korean sunscreens win here.

• Blue Lizard Sunscreen – Texture is off, and my kids hate it too.

• Neutrogena Makeup Wipes – Use a Makeup Eraser or Bioderma Micellar Water instead.

💇‍♀️ Haircare

• Henrietta Hair Products – Weighed down my thick hair.

• T3 Hair Tools – Not worth the price.

• Revlon Round Brush Dryer – Damaged my hair even with minimal use.

• Olaplex No. 4 & 5 – Dried out my hair.

🧴 Wellness & Personal Care

• AG1 Greens – Overpriced and taste awful.

• Touchland Hand Sanitizer – Outrageous price. Mrs. Meyer’s is better.

• Nutrafol – While popular, I didn’t notice meaningful results for the price

🍼 Baby & Family

• Dr. Brown’s Bottles – Too many parts to clean.

• Diaper Genie – Least useful baby gift I’ve received. Kroger bags work better.

🏠 Home & Lifestyle

• Tineco Floor One Wet/Dry Vacuum – Didn’t use it enough to justify the price. Switched to Dyson.

• Hatch Alarm Clock – Fastest return I’ve ever made. Didn’t work for me.

• BOG Bags – Everyone has one. I prefer something more unique.

• Sol de Janeiro – Smells fine, but feels like overpriced Bath & Body Works.
