This Not That: Belif The Truth Aqua Bomb

Okay, this one’s for my normal to oily skin girls. 💧

Back when my skin wasn’t as dry as the Sahara, Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb was my holy grail. I used it for years—it was lightweight, hydrating, and always gave me that fresh-faced glow. So when someone asked me for a dupe recently, I picked it up again for a little throwback test.

And wow—I'd totally forgotten about the tacky finish it leaves once it dries. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely noticeable now that I’ve tried other formulas.

Enter: Remedy for Light Moisture. I gave this one a shot as an alternative and I’m obsessed. The texture is super similar to Belif—light, gel-like, and refreshing—but the dry-down is way better. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and prepped, and my makeup sits beautifully on top. No pilling, no weird residue.

Bonus points: it’s fragrance-free (unlike Belif, which has a noticeable scent), and the push-pump bottle is a win for me. I know not everyone loves that packaging, but I find it super hygienic and easy to control. And the best part? I’ve been using it for almost three months and I still haven’t run out. 👏

If you’re looking for a Belif dupe with a cleaner finish and better performance under makeup, this one’s worth checking out.
