This Not That: Fenty Diamond Bomb Highlighter

Full disclosure: I didn’t get to test the Fenty Diamond Bomb for long… because one of my daughters got into it and crushed it into the carpet. #blessed 😅

But honestly? Even before its sparkly demise, I wasn’t loving it. When I reach for a highlighter, I want glow—not glitter that makes me look like I borrowed my daughter’s Sparkle & Shine Mermaid Palette.

On my skin, the Fenty Diamond Bomb was all glitter, no grace. The fallout was real—I’m pretty sure you could trace my exact steps throughout the day by the trail of sad shimmer I left behind.

I ended up finding a new highlighter on Amazon (shoutout to Catrice Diamond Haze 💎), and I’ve been loving it. The sparkle is way more refined—still luminous, but soft enough for daytime wear. It gives that lit-from-within glow without screaming festival season. There’s a little fallout, but nothing like what I experienced with Fenty.
