This Not That: Hatch White Noise Machine

I didn’t take any chances when it came to sleep schedules for my three kids—and a sound machine was a non-negotiable part of that. We originally went with the Hatch because I wanted something I could control from my phone. But I quickly realized how high-maintenance it was.

We actually had two Hatch machines, and both gave us trouble. We had to replace the power adapters on both multiple times. Eventually, I stopped buying the official Hatch replacements and grabbed a generic one off Amazon—no issues since. On top of that, the Hatch would randomly lose connection, even though our Wi-Fi was totally stable. For something that costs nearly $100, I expected a lot more reliability.

When we were expecting our third, I found the Dreamegg 4-in-1 on Amazon—and thank goodness I did. My third baby was by far my worst sleeper, and having a white noise machine that worked without any fuss was a total lifesaver during those exhausting nights.

Also, huge shoutout to All Tucked In (Baby Sleep Consultant)—they helped sleep train my 8-month-old in just TWO DAYS. My only regret is not reaching out to them sooner.

If you’re building your baby registry, skip the fancy name-brand sound machines and grab this one instead. You won’t regret it.
