This Not That: My Bodycare Routine

This one’s short and sweet, because I’ve finally nailed down the key to soft skin and keeping the stank away.
In the shower, I keep it simple and consistent: I’ve used Neutrogena Rainforest Bath Gel as my body wash for seven years, and I’m not stopping anytime soon. It gets my skin clean without stripping it, which makes everything I do after the shower work even better.
Post shower is where the magic really happens. Two to three times a week, I use the Barefaced Polishing Pads all over my body (I skip my neck and face) to gently exfoliate and smooth any rough patches. I use 2-3 jars in the winter only.
Once that sinks in, I follow with APLB Retinol Body Lotion, which is fragrance free and keeps my skin soft and hydrated without clashing with any scent.
To finish, I layer the Scented Theory Cashmere Mist over everything. It locks in the moisture and leaves behind a beautiful, cozy scent that lasts without being overpowering. And that’s it—simple routine, seriously soft skin.
If it’s summertime, I add one more step for extra glow: I apply Kyda body oil on my arms and legs to give my skin that hydrated, light catching sheen.
Whenever it’s summertime, I tend to smell bad from the humidity so Hypochlorous spray is my BFF. It’s a constant rotation on my pits and feet.
There you have it from one smelly bitch!
