This Not That: Nars Light Reflecting Foundation

I've been a big fan of the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation for awhile. It’s my go-to for weddings, showers, or any event where I need a little extra glam. But let’s be real—those events don’t happen every day, and I found myself barely making a dent in the bottle before it started to expire (RIP to wasted luxury).

So I went on a mission for a more affordable everyday option, and after trying a few so-called dupes, Wet n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Foundation came out on top. Now, is the spatula applicator annoying? Absolutely. Does it have a bit of a fragrance? Yep. But once it’s on the skin? It’s shockingly similar to NARS. Same glow, same skin-like finish, and even the same separation zones on my face (twinsies?).

It gives way more coverage than a skin tint but still feels breathable and natural. If you’re looking for that radiant, healthy-skin look without the luxury price tag, this one’s worth a try.
