This Not That: Ouai Texturizing Wave Spray

I shared in my stories that my wavy hair is finally making a comeback—2.5 years after having a baby! I’ve always been a fan of Ouai, so when I restocked their dry shampoo, I decided to try the Wave Spray too.

While it gave some texture, the fragrance was super intense—typical of Ouai products. But the biggest issue? It caused a surprising amount of frizz around the crown of my head. I followed my usual curly hair routine and even added a serum, but nothing helped tame it (check my stories to see what I mean).

So, I returned it and picked up this sea salt spray instead—and I’m so glad I did. For just $8, you get a generous amount of product, and it made my waves look more defined and even a bit curlier. I barely used any, so it should last a while. Even with my thick hair, I noticed a difference in texture and volume. Who doesn’t love that?
