I got my brows laminated for the first time — and wow, what a difference! Sure, I looked wildly surprised on day one (even scared my kids 😅), but they settled in beautifully after that.

Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for a brow gel that could hold me over between appointments. I tried so many — both budget-friendly and high-end — and it’s shocking how many leave behind a white, flaky residue. Just… no.

Eventually, I landed on the Rare Beauty Brow Harmony Gel, and it’s been a game-changer for my thick, unruly brows. I tested a few affordable options to compare — including ELF, NYX, and Essence — but most were misses.

Surprisingly, the Maybelline Super Lock Brow Gel was the standout. It feels super similar to Rare Beauty, and the brush is nearly identical. The only downside? The tube can dry out quickly, but if you’re using it daily, it shouldn’t be a problem.
