This Not That: Revisions Brightening Facial Wash

One thing about me is I'll admit when I'm wrong. I decided to redo this post after 1.) the previous product I suggested started burning my face and 2.) the second I tried this product I knew it was a better fit for this. Enjoy!

As we’ve established, I’m easily swayed when shopping online, especially by enticing keywords like “brightening” in skincare. When I saw an influencer promoting a big bundle for Revisions products, I couldn’t resist and ordered the Intellishade tinted moisturizer (meh), DEJ eye cream (so pricey), and brightening facial wash.

While the cleanser did do an excellent job of removing my makeup (it’s surprising how many cleansers struggle with that!), I found it left my skin SO feeling tight and SO dry #wompwomp This made it hard for me to use my active ingredients in other skincare products. Personally, I prefer seeing results from serums and treatments rather than cleansers, so this was a one-time purchase for me. I ended up giving it to my husband, who has oily skin, and he was able to finish the bottle without issues.

I've been loving Numbuzin over the past year and this cleanser is no exception. The minute I tried it I knew it was a great alternative to Revisions. It has all the brightening effects without stripping the moisture out of my skin (Revisions could never). This is a great product for those with sensitive skin who want the brightening effect without the drama.

Please don’t spend more than $25 on a cleanser when you’re just washing it down the drain! There are plenty of affordable, high-quality options out there.

Here's my link to shop.
