This Not That: Ritual Omega 3 Fish Oil

I always say: food first, supplements second. But a couple weeks ago, I had a traumatic sushi experience (rubbery tuna #IYKYK) and I haven’t been the same since. So… back to a fish oil we go 🐟

A while back, I tried Ritual’s prenatals and omega-3s because a few friends swore by them. And let’s be real—y’all liked them for the aesthetic. The branding is gorgeous, the pills are cute, but the “no fishy burps” claim? A lie. If anything, the citrus-mint combo made it worse. Imagine burping up fishy mint #AbsolutelyNot What really sealed the deal for me was the dosage. It’s embarrassingly low compared to other brands. Felt like I was just flushing money down the drain.

Now, I’m a big fan of Sports Research (minus their collagen pills—meh). Their omega-3s are high quality, third-party tested, and they don’t hide behind “proprietary blends” (looking at you, AG1 👀). Yes, the pills are huge, but the benefits outweigh that minor inconvenience. Such a great value for a great product.
