I’ve been a longtime fan of Tatcha—honestly, most of their products are so uniquely formulated that finding true alternatives feels impossible. But I’ve been on a mission to find a more affordable option (mostly for myself 😂), and I think I finally found one worth sharing.

I knew I had to stick with Korean skincare because of the ingredient quality, and the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Cream really impressed me. It’s not a dupe—because let’s be real, Tatcha can’t be duplicated—but it’s a fantastic alternative.

The texture is nearly identical: velvety, silky, and super smooth on application. I actually love that it’s unscented—something I wish Tatcha would offer. The main difference? Haruharu has a more natural matte finish, while Tatcha gives that signature dewy glow. But honestly, it’s a subtle difference, especially since we’re talking moisturizers.

Tatcha does offer longer-lasting hydration, but I found that Haruharu absorbs faster and works better under makeup. My only gripe with Tatcha is that if I apply too much, it takes a while to fully sink in.

Even if you’ve never tried the Dewy Skin Cream, this is a beautiful moisturizer for anyone looking for hydration and a silky finish—without the luxury price tag.
