This Not That: Tatcha The Serum Stick

I have loved the Tatcha Serum Stick for years and it is honestly one of those products I never shut up about because it just works. I would swipe it on dry patches, around my eyes, anywhere my makeup was starting to look tired, or whenever my skin needed a little extra moisture and smoothness. The best part is that it lasts forever, which almost made the $49 price tag easier to justify because you use so little each time. But after years of dragging out the last little bit for as long as possible, I finally ran out. Tatcha describes it as a treatment and touch-up balm with 80% squalane that helps moisturize dry spots, soften the look of fine lines, and work under or over makeup, which is exactly why I loved it so much.
Since I was not ready to immediately drop another $49, I tried the KAHI Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm instead, and I have to say, it is a really good alternative. No, it is not a perfect dupe, and I am not going to pretend it is the exact same formula, but it gives me that same convenient, swipe-on, makes-my-skin-look-more-alive kind of effect. It is rich, moisturizing, easy to throw on throughout the day, and it works on face, neck, and lips — basically a one-and-done bag product. Tatcha is still the more elegant formula in my opinion and I do think there is a reason it has such a loyal following, but KAHI scratches the same itch at less than half the price. If you have been eyeing the Tatcha stick but cannot justify the cost, KAHI is genuinely worth trying.
