This Not That: Lake Pima Pajama Set

I need to tread lightly with this post because I know some people are die-hard Lake pajama fans. After hearing everyone rave about them, I finally gave in and tried a pair. I went with the least “grandma chic” style I could find.
Here’s the thing—I’m 37, but these still give off major matronly vibes. If you’re staying at your in-laws’ place and want pajamas that scream “don’t worry, I’m not having sex under this roof,” then Lake is your gal. But personally, I’m just not ready for bedtime to feel quite this… matronly. Is anyone else with me here?
The set I bought is probably the least frumpy option they offer. They’re soft—though not the softest pajamas ever—and much thinner than I expected. Mine came with a matching robe, which unfortunately ripped the armpit after a few months.
On the flip side, I found some Amazon dupes that feel just as soft as the Lakes, which kind of says a lot. Not only are they incredibly soft—truly comparable to the feel of Lake pajamas—they're also true to size and hold up well after washing, with both the top and bottoms keeping their shape and softness over time. If you’re looking for pajamas that offer great comfort, coverage, and durability without paying the premium, these Amazon options are absolutely worth checking out
