This Not That: Laneige Cream Skin

So, a milky toner was a new adventure for me here at TNT. It’s been quite the journey, and I’m ready to spill the milk?

Real talk: this side hustle is starting to drain my wallet, so to keep my husband and our bank account happy, I’m opting for travel sizes whenever possible. Not sure if you care, but just thought I’d share.

I kicked things off with the Rhode Glazing Milk (woof, that name) and felt like I was slathering literal milk on my face. It was just too thick— which I of all people can’t believe I’m saying but I need my products to absorb after using a toner. It just didn’t work.

Then came Laneige, which was so runny, like why even bother? And it left me looking slightly oily, which is impressive since I have the dryest skin. The Beauty of Joseon one was also like water—couldn’t stand it.

Byoma once again took the crown for me. While not all their products are slam dunks (I LOATHE their hydrating serum), they nail toners. After two weeks of use, I noticed a calmer skin barrier. For me, a milky toner is perfect when my skin barrier needs a little extra love.

Pro tip I read online: apply it with your hands and pat it on. Skip the cotton pad or cloth—it’s just wasting the product.
