This Not That: Steve Madden Natural Platform Sandals

Okay, I’m mostly saying this to myself, but seriously—stop buying trending shoes the second they drop. Just wait for the dupes to roll in. I bought these Steve Maddens last year, and of course, now there are a ton of cuter, comfier knockoffs this season.

Case in point: these Target versions are just better. I think it’s the gold buttons that won me over, but they’re also way easier to walk in. The Steve Maddens? Heavy, toe-crushing, and in this 150% humidity, I’m basically ice skating in them. Plus, they rub on that weird little side bone on your foot—you know the one. (Yes, I have a college degree. Why do you ask?)

Moral of the story: save your money and go for the Target pair.
