This Not That: Colorescience Total Protection Color Balm

First off, major shoutout to all of you — you seriously send me the best product recs and make this job a thousand times easier. It’s a total team effort, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

So when a follower DM’d me about a possible Colorescience balm dupe, I ordered it immediately. If you’ve been here a while, you know I’ve shared my thoughts on the Colorescience balm before — and let’s just say, it’s not a favorite. It tugs on my skin like crazy when I try to apply it directly, and even with a brush, it leaves a streak that’s tough to blend. And don’t even get me started on using it as a lip balm — unless you’re going for the “cracked desert lips” look.

Enter this new balm. It arrived just a few days ago and I haven’t put it down since. I love that it gives me a little extra SPF while adding the prettiest glow. It’s perfect for tossing in your bag for mid-day touch-ups.
